Thurs evening Cruise

Tonight we chose the optional excursion of a dinner cruise on the Danube River. Certainly a highlight of the trip so far! We had a glass of sparkling wine as we boarded the boat and it was nice to find out that we would be the only guests on board.

Diner started with a plate of meat and cheese,

Followed by an aubergine soup and half a duck. They are expected a lot of duck here and it was just beautiful, moist and tender. Dessert was a cherry strudel. (So busy eating and talking, I forgot to take pictures)

There are about nine bridges over the Danube, all of different structures. The ones we went under look fabulous at night.
